Mr. Dan Kofi Okudzeto (Chief Executive Officer)

The Chairman of the Board of Directors and Chief Executive Officer of Oilchannel is Mr. Dan Kofi Okudzeto. Mr. Dan K. Okudzeto has over 20 years of executive level management and entrepreneurship. He is the founder of Oilchannel Limited.

He is an imaginative person with a knack for the identification of niche markets, proven ability to create and exploit market opportunities, reputation as a dynamic agent of change with entrepreneurial nature and high energy level; effective combination of team building, managerial skills; collaboration and deal-making talents. He brings to the company a mix of the most powerful ingredients; that of in-house proven industry performers and strong strategic alliances.

Ms. Joyce Heman-Ackah (Chief Operating Officer)

Joyce Heman-Ackah is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants UK and holds a BSc in Mathematics and Statistics from University of Ghana , Legon.

Prior to joining Oilchannel, Joyce was the General Manager- Finance of NSIA Ghana Insurance Company formerly CDH Insurance. She joined NSIA Ghana in March 2000 and was instrumental in the growth of the company during her service period. Joyce was an active player within the insurance industry, chairing the Finance Committee of the Ghana Insurance Association between 2008 and 2010, serving as a Director on the Board of the Ghana Insurance College and participating on various industry committees.

Between 1998 and 2000, she was a consultant with KPMG Ghana and involved in various projects within the Integrated Vendor Solutions and Corporate Finance Units of the firm.

In 1998 Joyce returned to Ghana from the UK after 13 years. Her last position was the Finance Manager, of a large charitable organization and Non-Executive Director and Honorary Treasurer of Milton House Trust. Ms. Heman-Ackah also worked for some years as an accountant/auditor in public practice in the UK.

She is a member of the Institute of Directors (Ghana) and Honorary Treasurer and a Director of the Business Council for Africa (BCA GH). She also holds Directorship on the board of the Ghana Association of Leasing Companies.

Mr. Nana Kwame Gyakari Ntim (Finance Manager)

Kwame Ntim graduated from Ghana Business School (School of Administration), University of Ghana, Legon with Bsc. Administration Degree (Accounting Option) in 1993. He qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 2001 with a CA (GHANA) professional qualification.

His employment history started with Pannel Kerr Forster, a firm of Chartered Accountants from 1995 – 1998 as an Audit Trainee. He joined Bank of Ghana as an officer and rose to the position of Deputy Audit Manager in 1999. He contributed enormously towards the audit function in the Central Bank till 2006. Kwame Ntim was appointed the Internal Auditor of the Venture Capital Trust Fund. Through hard work he gained the position of Accountant of the Trust Fund. He joins Oilchannel as the Finance Manager.

Mr. Marshall Joseph Tamakloe (Marketing Manager)

Marshall is a graduate of Ghana Business School (School of Administration) University of Ghana, Legon. He graduated with Bsc. (Hons) (Finance) in 1985. He received post-graduate training in Finance in-house, both internationally and locally. He also benefited greatly from training in marketing as well.

During the earlier part of his working life, Marshall worked in the employment of Texaco Ghana Limited. He joined British Petroleum Ghana Limited (BP) in 1988 during the years when the Oil Industry in Ghana, witnessed major transformation as a result of improvements beginning in the national economy.

He played a key role in this transformation on the part of BP as the national Coordinator of Horizon Project (a project that resulted in the purification, re-branding and the re-imaging of the BP network and assets in Ghana, as part of a global project).

When Elf Aquitainne acquired majority shares in BP in the early nineties he was appointed the District Manager for Accra District. He was later elevated to the position of Area Manager and latter rose to the position of National Network Coordinator. Marshall’s knowledge and experience in Oil Marketing is very deep and iconic.

Mr. James Orleans-Lindsay (Operations Manager)

He Holds Masters in Business Administration (MBA, Marketing) from University of Leicester, UK. He also holds Professional Certificate in Project Management from College of Project Management, UK. He was awarded Higher Diplomas in Business Management & Administration and Sales Management & Marketing, from College of Professional Management, UK. For first degree he studied and was awarded Bsc. (Hons) in Chemical Engineering from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science & Technology, Ghana.

He began his working life with Ghana National Petroleum Corporation as Operations Engineer. He joined Bulk Oil Storage & Transportation Limited as a Marketing Officer and became Depot Manager where he accumulated knowledge and skills in stock management and product accounting.

He was Deputy Head of the Import/Export Department of Tema Oil Refinery (TOR) for three years during which he helped to expand the market base of the refinery to sub-saharan region, leading to increase in export account sales.

His recent place of employment was with Westcape Petroleum Ltd. His role as the Business Focus Manager was primarily to ensure effective management of contracts with trading financiers and negotiations of trading agreements.

Hitherto he had worked with Global Resources International, UK.
